The NAACP is a multi-ethnic coalition of Freedom Fighters who are in Pursuit of The Beloved Community. A national organization founded in 1909 in response to the ongoing violence against Black people around the country, the NAACP’s mission is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons.ĭrew University, a Phi Beta Kappa liberal arts university, includes the College of Liberal Arts, the Drew Theological School and the Caspersen School of Graduate Studies. The Morris County Chamber of Commerce, headquartered in Florham Park, has more than 700 member organizations that range from entrepreneurs and small businesses to large corporations and Fortune 500 companies. The chamber is dedicated to the advancement of Morris County’s businesses and community, and provides services, information and advocacy to support the growth of its member organizations. The chamber’s many events, meetings and seminars provide a platform for members to connect, collaborate and succeed. The League does not support or oppose any political candidate or party.
